Is Get FixFault an authorized repair service?
No. Get FixFault is an independent informational publication. It does not inspect appliances, sell repair work or represent a manufacturer, insurer or warranty provider.
Does a verified guide guarantee the diagnosis?
No. Verified means the guide passed Get FixFault’s evidence gate for the stated brand, appliance, code and scope. It does not prove that a particular component failed in your appliance.
Why do I need the full model number?
The same display code can have different meanings, components or procedures across model families, markets and revisions. The full model and suffix are essential before ordering parts or relying on a procedure.
When should I stop troubleshooting immediately?
Stop for smoke, burning, sparking, gas smell, exposed live parts, a damaged or swollen battery, significant water near electricity, suspected refrigerant leakage or any condition you cannot make safe. Use an appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.
Can I perform electrical, gas or refrigerant work myself?
Get FixFault does not authorize that work. Mains electrical, gas, refrigerant, sealed-system, pressure and damaged lithium-battery work can be hazardous and legally restricted. Use a suitably qualified and locally authorized professional.
Can a reset prove that the appliance is safe?
No. A reset may clear a display while the underlying fault or hazard remains. Never repeatedly reset a stop condition or bypass a safety device.
Are repair cost estimates quotes?
No. They are planning estimates based on selected market, appliance, brand, model recognition, suspected component, labour assumptions and replacement benchmark. Obtain a written local quote before spending money.
What does calculator confidence mean?
Confidence measures the specificity of the price inputs—for example whether a model family and component-specific calibration are available. It does not measure the probability that the selected component caused the fault.
Should I repair or replace an appliance under warranty?
Check warranty, retailer, installer, insurer or service-plan coverage first. Unauthorized disassembly can affect coverage. The calculator highlights this boundary but cannot interpret your contract.
How are real repair outcomes calculated?
Visitors can submit one current response per guide and pseudonymous network identifier. Public percentages unlock only after a minimum response threshold. They are self-reported descriptive data, not controlled research or proof of causation.
Can I change my repair feedback?
Yes. A later response for the same guide from the same pseudonymous network identifier updates the existing outcome rather than creating another vote.
Does Get FixFault store my raw IP address with feedback?
The application stores a secret-salted hash derived from the network address, not the raw IP address, in the feedback table. Hosting and security providers may separately process request data needed to deliver and protect the service.
Are analytics cookies required?
No. Google Analytics is optional and remains blocked unless you accept it. Public content works with necessary storage only, and the choice can be changed through Cookie settings.
Does Get FixFault sell personal data or use advertising cookies?
No. The site does not currently sell personal data or load advertising, remarketing or affiliate-tracking cookies. The legal notices must be updated before those practices change.
Are manufacturer names an endorsement?
No. Names, codes and trademarks identify the products discussed and belong to their owners. Unless expressly stated, the manufacturer does not sponsor, approve or certify Get FixFault.
How do I report unsafe or inaccurate content?
Stop using the affected guidance and email contact@smartcroatiatravel.com with the exact page URL, full appliance model, country or market, and the official source or observed mismatch. Do not send unnecessary sensitive data.
