Get FixFault is operated by Dino Vrgoc. Provider and contact details are available in the Impressum. These Terms apply whenever you access or use this website. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
The public service is currently provided without a user account and without a fee. Nothing on the website constitutes an offer to perform repair work, sell a part, enter into a maintenance contract or provide a binding professional opinion.
2. Informational purpose only
Guides, fault-code meanings, likely causes, checks, repair-or-replace results, time estimates, price ranges and feedback statistics are general information. They are not a diagnosis of your particular appliance and are not a substitute for the exact manufacturer documentation, a product recall notice, a warranty condition or an on-site assessment by a qualified professional.
Appliances with similar names or error codes can use different components, software, wiring, voltages and procedures. Information may also differ by model suffix, serial range, production date, market or document revision. You must identify the complete model and confirm the applicable manufacturer instructions before acting or ordering a part.
3. Safety and stop conditions
You are responsible for deciding whether you have the knowledge, tools and safe working conditions required for any step. Stop immediately and isolate the appliance when there is smoke, burning, sparking, exposed live wiring, a damaged or swollen battery, gas smell, significant water near electricity, suspected refrigerant leakage, structural damage or another immediate hazard. Contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional where necessary.
- Disconnect electrical power and shut off water before an inspection whenever it is safe to do so.
- Do not rely on an appliance control, standby mode or opened door as electrical isolation.
- Do not perform gas, mains-voltage, high-voltage capacitor, sealed-system, refrigerant or structural work unless legally permitted, trained and qualified.
- Do not bypass safety interlocks, fuses, protective earth, leak protection, thermal protection or manufacturer safeguards.
- Do not continue testing when the guide, manufacturer or observed condition says to stop.

4. No guarantee of accuracy or outcome
We use an evidence-first publication process and aim to correct errors, but we do not promise that every page is complete, current, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular appliance. A source link confirms the evidence reviewed at a point in time; it does not make Get FixFault the manufacturer or guarantee that a source remains unchanged.
No statement on the site guarantees that a suggested check will fix the fault, that a named component has failed, that a repair is lawful in your location, that a part will fit, or that a repair will preserve a warranty, insurance policy or regulatory approval.
5. Cost estimates and repair-or-replace results
Calculator outputs are estimates based on selected market, appliance, brand, model recognition where available, suspected component, labour assumptions, part type, age and replacement benchmark. They are not quotations, valuations, financial advice or guarantees of local availability. Taxes, call-out charges, access difficulty, secondary damage, diagnostic time, disposal, delivery and regional labour rates can materially change the final cost.
Before committing money, obtain a written quote, verify warranty or service-plan coverage and compare the correct like-for-like replacement. The final decision and any resulting expense remain yours.
6. Repair feedback and aggregate statistics
User feedback is voluntary, unverified and self-reported. Results may reflect selection bias, incomplete diagnosis, different models and different interpretations of what “worked.” Public percentages are descriptive only, do not establish causation and are not a substitute for manufacturer evidence or professional diagnosis. We may correct, combine, exclude or remove feedback where reasonably necessary to protect data quality, security or legal rights.
7. External links, manufacturers and trademarks
External links are provided to help users reach relevant manufacturer, consumer or service information. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, pricing or privacy practices. Check the destination and its terms before relying on it.
Manufacturer names, product names, error codes and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational reference. Unless expressly stated, Get FixFault is not sponsored, approved, certified or affiliated with those owners.
8. Acceptable use
You may use the public service for lawful personal or internal informational purposes. You must not:
- attempt to access protected administration areas or bypass security, rate limits or access controls;
- interfere with availability, introduce malicious code or test vulnerabilities without written authorization;
- use automated access in a way that overloads the service or ignores published technical restrictions;
- misrepresent Get FixFault content as a manufacturer instruction, professional diagnosis or safety certification;
- copy, republish or commercially exploit substantial parts of the database or original presentation except where law permits it.
We may restrict abusive access, preserve evidence and cooperate with lawful requests where necessary.
9. Intellectual property
The site design, original explanatory text, compilation, data organization and software are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. Third-party source material and trademarks remain the property of their owners. Linking to a public page is permitted. Statutory quotation, private-use and other mandatory exceptions remain unaffected.
10. Availability and changes
We may update, correct, suspend or remove content or functions without guaranteeing continuous availability. We may change these Terms prospectively when the service, law or risk profile changes. The review date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes do not retroactively remove rights that already arose under mandatory law.
11. Liability within legally permitted limits
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence; injury to life, body or health; an expressly assumed guarantee; fraudulent concealment; or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory product-liability rules where applicable.
For damage caused by simple negligence, Get FixFault is liable only for breach of a material obligation whose performance is necessary for the proper use of the service and on which a user may normally rely. In that case, liability is limited to the damage that was typical and reasonably foreseeable when the obligation arose, to the extent such limitation is legally permitted. Otherwise, liability for simple negligence is excluded to the legally permitted extent. These limits also apply to representatives and agents.
Mandatory consumer rights and the allocation of the burden of proof under applicable law remain unaffected. Nothing on the site asks you to waive rights that cannot validly be waived.
12. Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, insofar as this choice is legally permitted. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the country in which you habitually reside.
An exclusive place of jurisdiction is agreed only where the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, or where another legally permitted jurisdiction agreement applies. Consumers retain the courts available to them under mandatory law.
